Xbox announces Summer Games Showcase livestream for June

Xbox has announced that the Xbox Games Showcase will return for another year, this time on June 8, alongside another showcase dedicated to The Outer Worlds 2.
The details:
The showcase will be streamed live on Xbox's official YouTube, Twitch, and social channels at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET/6 p.m. on June 8. According to Microsoft, the show will include "looks at upcoming titles from across our first-party studios, in addition to incredible new titles from our third-party partners across the globe." This means fans may get to see more footage and information about the recently delayed Fable reboot, Rare's Everwild, the new Perfect Dark, and Gears of War: E-Day.
A second showcase is set to air immediately following the first, this time focusing on Obsidian Entertainment's upcoming RPG, The Outer Worlds 2. The Direct will include "new gameplay, details, and developer insights" ahead of its launch later this year.
Although not directly affiliated, Xbox's showcase will take place during the same week as Geoff Keighley's annual Summer Game Fest, which is viewed as a replacement for the now-defunct E3. The event will begin on June 6 with a two-hour livestream of trailers and announcements from studios of all sizes, followed by an invite-only Play Days media event and a new business event.
