Stellar Blade studio believes its PC port will sell more than its PlayStation version

Shift Up has stated that it expects the PC version of Stellar Blade to surpass the sales of the original PS5 release of the game.
The details:
During its latest annual financial report (via Game World Observer), the studio was asked about its commercial expectations for Stellar Blade's upcoming port. It explained that because PC has a "higher market share" than consoles, and single-player action games continue to grow in popularity, it now expects Stellar Blade's PC port to outperform its original PS5 exclusive release. βIn the AAA game market, PC devices have a higher market share than consoles, so we expect the performance of the PC version to exceed that of the console version,β Shift Up said. βWe are particularly observing trends such as the significant expansion of the single-player action game market in the Asian gaming industry.β
The company also stated that it has analyzed the performance of both successful and underperforming PC ports of console games in order to prepare Stellar Blade for success. This includes optimizing the game, adding additional content, and making it fully playable on handheld devices like the Steam Deck.
Shift Up previously revealed that Stellar Blade sold over one million copies in its first few months on the market, despite backlash from a group of players regarding post-launch censorship of its in-game content. Because of the title's success, the studio's revenue has increased by 30% year on year, and it reported its highest annual figures to date.
