Bethesda has finally announced that Starfield is making its way to PlayStation 5 on April 7 alongside a major update and DLC adding new content.

The details:

  • The Standard and Deluxe Editions of Starfield on PS5 will cost $49.99 and $64.99, respectively, with the prices on PC and Xbox being adjusted to the new pricing. Those playing on a PS5 Pro will be able to choose between a Pro Performance mode, which targets higher frame rates, and Pro Visual, which will prioritize graphical quality.
  • Alongside the port, Bethesda is releasing a new DLC, Terran Armada, which costs $9.99 or comes free with the Deluxe Edition of the game. The DLC adds a new storyline, items, locations, enemies, and quests and will be available on all platforms.
  • The Free Lanes update is also coming to the game for all players. Bethesda states that the update will “deepen the core Starfield experience for both new and returning players" and add pets, new areas, new crew members, and the ability to travel between planets without loading screens.
