It has been claimed that Bethesda's sci-fi RPG Starfield is set to arrive on PS5 on April 7, with pre-orders opening on March 18.

The details:

  • As shared by reliable insider billbil-kun, who has a consistent track record of accurately leaking upcoming titles, the PS5 version of Starfield will arrive early next month. The game will receive a physical release and will be available in both Standard and Premium Editions for €49.99 / £44.99 and €69.99 / £59.99, respectively, a lower price than the Xbox and PC versions.
  • No details regarding the Premium Edition of the game have been revealed so far, but it will not include any form of early access and will likely feature the same extras as the version available on Xbox. It’s also believed that the lower price point will also be introduced for the Xbox release, bringing it down from its current retail prices of €79.99 / £69.99 and €109.99 / £99.99.
  • It has been reported several times over the past two years that Bethesda intended to bring the sci-fi RPG to PS5 as Microsoft began pushing its multi-platform strategy for first-party Xbox games. It has been claimed by trusted insider Nate The Hate that a Nintendo Switch 2 port is also on the cards, which could follow the upcoming launch of Oblivion: Remastered.
