Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is arriving this year as a digital-only release
It has been confirmed that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is finally arriving in May, but it will be a digital-only release.
The details:
Ninja Theory's Hellblade sequel, which was first announced in late 2019, will be released on May 21, 2024. According to studio head Dom Matthews during Developer_Direct, the game is now "in the final months of development".
Hellblade 2 will also not receive a physical version but will be sold digitally on Xbox and PC for $49.99, according to an Xbox Wire post. It will also be available on Game Pass at launch.
The game will follow Senua as she searches for the Vikings who raided her village in 10th-century Iceland, with her psychosis playing a significant role in the experience. Combat has also been altered from the original game and is described as "brutal and visceral."
Hellblade 2 is said to be “as long as” the first game, which puts it at around a nine-hour experience for those looking to 100% the title, according to How Long To Beat.
