Rime and Gylt developer Tequila Works is auctioning off its game and brand rights after filing for bankruptcy

Tequila Works, a Madrid-based studio that declared bankruptcy late last year, is now auctioning off the rights to several games, unfinished projects, and the entire brand for thousands of euros.
The details:
Tequila Works filed for insolvency in November after 15 years following a wave of layoffs the previous month, citing "prolonged market conditions." As a result, the studio's founders stepped down from their positions, handing over control to general manager Térence Mosca for the remainder of the company's existence to assist former employees.
It has now been discovered that the studio's brand and game rights are being sold on auction site Escrapalia, with bids open until May 14. The auction includes listings for the rights and trademarks to its biggest hits, Rime and Gylt, both of which currently have active bids of €15,500. Deadlight, its debut title, and a playable demo of its unreleased sequel, as well as the 2017 VR murder mystery game The Invisible Hours, are also up for sale.
Tequila Works is also selling a number of unfinished projects, including vertical slices of open-world narrative action adventure The Ancient Mariner, co-op party game Dungeon Tour, and a multiplayer combat-focused title titled Brawler Crawler. Four other game concepts are also up for grabs in a bundle: Frozen Outpost, Mr. Huesitos, Hungry Cities, and Under a Logger's Moon. The studio states that all of the projects will be sold with "creative, narrative, and visual documentation, and copyright," and will be "ready to be developed by studios, publishers, or investors in the sector."
The studio's entire brand is also being sold, including full ownership of its website, the "Tequila Works" trademark, and social media accounts, all of which come without any contractual encumbrances and restrictions. Currently, the highest bid is just €290.
