Ahead of the game’s launch next year, Capcom has revealed Resident Evil 9 Requiem has already surpassed an impressive milestone.
The details:
- In a post to X, the publisher shared that over one million people have added the game to their wishlists across Steam and PlayStation. “Requiem for the dead. Nightmare for the over one million of you who wishlisted Resident Evil Requiem,” Capcom wrote in its post accompanied by an image of Grace Ashcroft. “Thank you!”
- RE9 was unveiled during Summer Game Fest as its final major announcement. The short trailer gave us a look at a destroyed Raccoon City and follows Grace Ashcroft, who is most likely the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft from Resident Evil Outbreak.
- More about the game is set to be revealed later this week at the Capcom Spotlight Showcase, which will take place on June 26. The event will also include a better look at upcoming sci-fi IP Pragmata, as well as new content for Monster Hunter Wilds and Street Fighter 6.
More gaming news:
- MindsEye developer Build a Rocket Boy has confirmed it is laying off an unconfirmed number of employees.
- Hypixel Studios has announced it is shutting its doors as it cancels its debut Minecraft-like title, Hytale.
