Nintendo is hosting an Indie World showcase tomorrow
Nintendo has announced that another Indie World livestream will take place on November 14, giving us a look at some of the smaller titles coming to the Switch in the coming months.
The details:
The showcase will begin at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. GMT across Nintendo's various YouTube channels. It’s said to feature “roughly 20 minutes of new announcements and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch“.
It's worth noting that Indie World differs greatly from the company's standard Directs, which focus on larger titles. Oxenfree II, Teslagrad 2, Rift of the NecroDancer, and other games were showcased at April's Indie World, with fans hoping that Hollow Knight: Silksong will make an appearance this time after its delay earlier this year.
This could be one of the last Indie World events held with the Switch as Nintendo's primary system, as the company is reportedly planning to launch its next console in the second half of 2024. It has since denied reports that it briefed publishers on its plans, but the Switch era is likely to come to an end due to the age of the console.
