Layoffs reportedly hit Kerbal Space Program developer Intercept Games

Update: Bloomberg has confirmed the claims, with documents seen by the publication revealing that both Intercept Games and Roll7 will close their doors.
It appears that Take-Two's layoffs have impacted Kerbal Space Program developer Intercept Games and a new filing suggests the studio may be closing entirely.

As reported by Game Developer, Take-Two has filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) indicating that the layoffs are part of a "Closure" rather than a standard workforce reduction. The layoffs will begin on June 28, and Take-Two has yet to reveal which areas have been affected.
Although the filing simply states that the affected company is "Take-Two," former Intercept employees have suggested on social media that they were laid off, which is most likely related to those in the filing. In a statement to Game Developer, the publisher declined to confirm whether Intercept was affected, but assured that Kerbal Space Program 2 would continue to be supported by its Private Division label.
Take-Two announced another restructuring plan last month, which will affect approximately 550 employees, or about 5% of its workforce. This came after CEO Strauss Zelnick stated in February that there were "no plans" for layoffs at the company, with cuts instead impacting marketing and third-party spending.
