The details:

• Several Best Buy affiliates and content creators have revealed that they received a marketing email describing a “GTA 6 Pre Order (Physical Game)” campaign running from May 18 to May 21, 2026, with a 5% commission for affiliate links.
• Given that the affiliate campaign ends on the same day as Take-Two's next scheduled earnings call on May 21, it's possible that Rockstar will announce the news alongside a trailer on May 18. Take-Two could then choose to share what are likely to be extremely impressive pre-order figures with investors just a few days later.
• The pre-order window also suggests that Rockstar is now confident in meeting GTA 6's current release date of November 19, 2026, following several delays that saw the game pushed back from 2025 to early 2026 to late 2026.
