Rockstar has revealed Grand Theft Auto 6’s official box art and confirmed that pre-orders for the game will open on June 25, ahead of its planned November 19, 2026 launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The details:

  • The new cover art was unveiled in a 30‑second teaser on Rockstar’s channels and the GTA 6 website, showing a classic GTA collage with dual protagonists Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval front and centre, surrounded by sports cars, a helicopter with a minigun, a speedboat, flamingo, alligator, and other Vice City characters.
  • The image leans heavily into Vice City nostalgia, echoing the panelled comic‑style artwork from earlier GTA entries while introducing new supporting figures like real‑estate mogul Boobie Ike and veteran bank robber Raul Bautista alongside an “siempre”‑necklaced woman in the lower panels.
  • Rockstar says pre-orders will “officially begin on June 25 on digital storefronts and at other select retailers,” covering both physical and digital editions on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with PC still unannounced for now.
  • The studio also confirms that June 25 is when players will finally learn GTA 6’s pricing and edition structure, with analysts and industry watchers expecting a premium price tag and multiple special editions given the game’s record‑breaking development budget and sales projections.
  • With the box art locked in and the pre-order window now dated, Rockstar appears to be entering the full marketing phase for GTA 6, and commentators note that the firm’s confidence around November 19 suggests no further delays are anticipated after earlier slips from late 2025 and May 2026.
