Episodic narrative indie Dispatch celebrates two million player milestone
AdHoc Studio

Dispatch, the episodic superhero workplace comedy from former Telltale Games developers, has surpassed the two million player milestone following its debut last month.

The details:

  • AdHoc Studio announced on November 19 via X that Dispatch has reached two million players, just over two weeks after hitting one million copies on November 3. The game was released across eight episodes on PC and PS5, with two 45-minute-long episodes launching each week from October 22 to November 12, giving the title the feel of a TV series.
  • Dispatch was developed by AdHoc Studio, founded by former Telltale Games developers, and follows the story of a former superhero who becomes a dispatcher managing a dysfunctional team of reformed supervillains. The game notably features an impressive cast of voice actors, including Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey, and popular content creators Jacksepticeye and MoistCr1TiKaL.
  • While the studio confirmed that there are no new episodes arriving this week, the title has been nominated for Best Debut Indie Game at The Game Awards and met with universal acclaim, so it’s likely we’ll see more of it sooner than later.
