Discord adds new Xbox Game Pass reward for Nitro subscribers

Discord has announced that Nitro subscribers will now be granted Xbox’s new Game Pass tier, “Starter,” providing access to over 50 games.

The details:

• As teased last month, Xbox and Discord have struck a partnership that adds Game Pass Starter to Discord’s lineup of free rewards given to all users who are actively subscribed to the platform’s Nitro service.
• The Game Pass membership provides a stripped-down version of the subscription service but still offers over 50 titles across PC and Xbox, including Fallout 4, Stardew Valley, and DayZ; 10 hours a month of Xbox Cloud Gaming; and the chance to earn up to $25 in Xbox Store rewards.
• Aside from Game Pass, Nitro subscribers can also receive exclusive discounts from SteelSeries, KontrolFreek, and Logitech at 15%, 20%, and 30% off, respectively. 250 Orbs, Discord’s in-app currency that can be spent on profile decorations and more, will also be automatically added to their account each month.
