Days Gone developer Bend Studio "still plans on creating cool sh*t" after Sony cancels its live service project

Bend Studio has stated that, despite Sony's recent cancellation of an unannounced live service game, it intends to continue developing new games after it was confirmed that it would not be shut down.
The details:
Last week, Sony confirmed that it had canceled two live service projects at Bluepoint Games and Bend Studio. Bluepoint was said to be working on a God of War title, and while no details were confirmed about Bend's project, Sony previously stated that it would include multiplayer and build on Days Gone's "deep open-world systems."
Following the announcement, community manager Kevin McAllister took to X to thank fans for their support and confirm that the studio is still open, as Sony had previously stated. “I’ll keep this short,” McAllister wrote. “Thanks for the love and support everyone, especially to those that have reached out. P.S. We still plan on creating cool shit.”
According to previous reports, Sony informed the studios at the same time as the general public. However, Bloomberg's Jason Schreier has since clarified that employees at Bend and Bluepoint were given notice that their projects would be canceled prior to Sony's public statement, with Giant Bomb's Jeff Grubb confirming the misunderstanding.
