Co-founder of Limbo developer Playdead claims studio is taking legal action and downplay his involvement in its games

Dino Patti, the co-founder and former CEO of Limbo and Inside studio Playdead, has claimed that the studio is taking legal action against him over the “unauthorised” use of images and development info, stating that it is an attempt to hide his involvement in its games.
The details:
Earlier this year, Patti, the founder of Somerville developer Jumpship, claimed in an interview with Game Developer that Limbo director and former friend Arnt Jensen had threatened him with legal action. He stated that the notice was sent after he posted a "lengthy description" of the game's development on LinkedIn late last year, along with a "unauthorized" photo.
In a new interview with Danish news outlet Arkaden, Patti provided an update on the situation, confirming that Playdead's legal team intends to proceed with the lawsuit. When asked about the trial, Patii stated that he "won't hold anything back" and will "basically be legally required to release all the images and materials showing what's gone on."
Patti added that he believes the lawsuit is an attempt by Jensen and Playdead to erase his involvement in the development of its games, including Limbo and Inside. He noted that, despite being listed as an executive producer on Limbo, his name appeared to have been moved from the top of the game's credits to the third page in subsequent re-releases.
He also shared a letter from Playdead's legal team, which alleges Patti pretended to be heavily involved in Limbo's production. “We want to repeat and caution that your continued use of Playdead’s assets and any disclosure and exploitation of inside knowledge about Playdead for commercial purposes is infringing and constitutes breach of confidentiality clauses,” the letter reads. “By providing recipients with core insights to the process of developing Limbo, you are falsely giving the impression that you played a significant role, including a creative role, in the development of the game.”
