Bloober Team is developing a Silent Hill 1 remake, Konami announces

Konami has confirmed that it is once again working with Bloober Team to create a remake of the original Silent Hill following the success of its Silent Hill 2 remake last year.
The details:
As announced at Konami's Press Start showcase, the remake of the classic 1999 horror title is now βin development,β although not much else has been revealed. It will be developed by Polish studio Bloober Team alongside Konami after the two companies announced that they were working on a then-unannounced project earlier this year.

Bloober Team is behind last year's remake of Silent Hill 2, which was met with critical acclaim. This is the second upcoming project from Bloober Team alongside Cronos: The New Dawn, its original survival horror game. The title is currently scheduled to launch in the second half of 2025 and is inspired by both Silent Hill and EAβs Dead Space series.
- The PC release of Stellar Blade has been a massive hit, surpassing 180,000 players within its first day.
- Nintendo Switch 2 has been the biggest console launch in the history of Nintendo and gaming as a whole.
