Electronic Arts

Ahead of EA’s official reveal stream for Battlefield 6’s multiplayer mode later this week, several new details regarding a new battle royale mode for the game have surfaced online.

The details:

  • As shared by prolific Battlefield leaker Temporyal on X, the map for Battlefield 6’s battle royale mode, "Battlefield Royale,” will reportedly be titled “Lyndon Beach,” with a recreation of the map also being shared. According to the map, it will feature several points of interest, such as a golf course, marina, docks, military base, and an urban town area, with some “scattered hints of a metro system.”
  • EA has yet to announce a battle royale mode for Battlefield 6, which it revealed with a new cinematic trailer last week. A longer reveal, focusing on the franchise’s staple multiplayer mode, is scheduled to take place on July 31, giving fans their first official look at what is said to be a return to more beloved Battlefield-style gameplay found in BF3 and BF4.
  • While a release date for BF6 has yet to be announced, it was discovered by fans that a URL found in its latest trailer confirmed that promotional offers tied to the game will become invalid on October 10, suggesting that it will arrive on October 11. It’s also rumored that the battle royale mode will arrive after the game’s initial release in October, meaning a reveal may come further down the line.
