Activision confirms Call of Duty 2024 will be Black Ops 6
Activision has released a teaser for the upcoming reveal of the next Call of Duty title, confirming that the game will be another entry in the Black Ops franchise.
The details:
Following the launch of a teaser site earlier this week, copies of Thursday's edition of USA Today includes ad pages with the title and logo for the next COD, as well as a link to TheTruthLies.com.
So far, the game's teasers have shown a defaced Mount Rushmore with references to the multiple endings of 2020's Black Ops Cold War. Previous leaks from trusted sources suggest that it will take place during the Gulf War as a direct sequel.
Black Ops 6 is set to be fully revealed on June 9 in its own showcase, immediately following the Xbox Games Showcase, although dataminers have found references to an in-game reveal through Warzone. Rumors of the game's day one Game Pass release have also started to circulate recently, making it the first new COD title to debut on the service.
