About Ludios

Ludios takes its name from the Latin, it means "The Game People". Led by Eyal, one of the co-founders of Tripledot Studios, and some of the most experienced people in mobile games, we are a studio that makes and publishes our own casual, free-to-play mobile games. Our team is based across APAC, with the majority of our development happening in Jakarta and Melbourne. We are data-driven, creative, and genuinely passionate about the industry we work in. Right now, we are working on a number of exciting projects, including one built around a globally recognised IP, alongside several original titles we are equally excited about. Role Overview

You will work on creating hand-rendered 2D environment assets for a live game. The 2D Artist needs to be able to successfully produce any type of environmental art assets assigned to them, meeting deadlines. Quickly adapt to new art styles and any technical requirements and pipelines. Be diligent to deliver the quality following the art guidelines and style from the Lead Artist, and also be efficient in following the production schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Produce concept and 2D Painted Renders of assets and textures for the environment, props, objects, and scenes for the game engine
Understand and follow the art requirements and the specific needs of the project
Promptly learn any new tools or techniques
Execute tasks assigned to them according to the project schedule while meeting quality expectations
Using Checklists to perform initial art and technical quality checks before sending the art asset to the Team Leader for review
Fix all problems noted by the Team Leader and the Art Director
Promptly report to the Team Leader about any difficulties encountered
Support Junior Artists, helping them to deal with tasks when needed

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Strong portfolio showing examples of 2D painted in-game props and environment examples
Familiar with creating 2D assets for a 3D game pipeline
Excellent 2D experience with Photoshop
Good basic art skills in art fundamentals (color composition and form)
Good understanding of architectural forms
Versatile in art style
Passionate about games
3D software knowledge is a plus
Unity experience is a plus
