Music is at the heart of every challenge in our Song Pop Games. As a Music Curator, you'll help select, organize, and maintain music content that keeps players engaged, challenged, and coming back for more. If you're interested in discovering music, spotting trends, and paying attention to detail, we'd like to hear from you.

Your Main Challenge

Help create engaging music experiences for SongPop by curating, maintaining, and improving music content. You'll ensure playlists and metadata remain accurate, relevant, and enjoyable while enhancing the player experience through music discovery and quality.

What It Means on a Daily Basis

You will:

Curate and maintain playlists across genres, themes, artists, and events.
Research music trends, songs, and artists to keep content fresh and engaging.
Review and maintain music metadata for accuracy and consistency.
Perform quality checks to ensure balanced, enjoyable gameplay.
Analyze player feedback and playlist performance to improve content.

WHAT SUCCESS WILL LOOK LIKE

Within your first 1–2 months, you will quickly learn our tools, workflows, and music content pipeline while becoming familiar with SongPop's curation standards and player experience goals.

By 3–4 months, you will confidently curate playlists, maintain music metadata, and support Live Ops events with high-quality music content.

By 6 months, your impact will be reflected through:

Delivering high-quality playlists on time for game updates and events.
Maintaining accurate, engaging, and well-curated music content.
Reducing metadata errors and ensuring consistent content quality.
Supporting Live Ops campaigns with themed music content.
Maintaining clear and consistent music curation standards across the game.

You will work closely with the Game Manager while collaborating with:

Live Ops specialist
Product manager
Community team
QA teams

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Technical Skills

Advanced knowledge of music across genres, artists, eras, and cultures.
Experience researching, organizing, and maintaining music content with high accuracy.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, or content management systems.
Ability to analyze content performance and use insights to improve player experience.
