Main challenge

This role is in charge of delivering versatile, high-quality 2D visual content that serves both game production and corporate communication needs.

They will produce mockups, pitch decks, game assets such as characters, UI elements (80% of workload), and HR/marketing materials (20% of workload) across a wide range of styles and formats.

What it means on a daily basis

  1. 2D Art Production & Quality
  • Create mockups and pitch decks with compelling visual storytelling and composition
  • Design and produce 2D game assets: characters, props, backgrounds, textures
  • Design and produce UI elements: icons, buttons, avatars, menus, HUD components
  • Retouch and polish 2D and 3D rendered images when needed
  • Handle full 2D production steps including sketching, line art, coloring, shading, lighting, and final rendering
  • Optimize assets for target platforms (mobile, PC) while maintaining visual quality

      2. Marketing & Corporate Materials

  • Create visual assets for HR campaigns: recruitment posts, employer branding materials, internal event visuals
  • Design marketing collaterals: banners, interstitials, social media graphics, presentation decks
  • Support brand identity work: icons, logos, screenshots, app store visuals when needed
  • Apply typography, layout, and branding principles to ensure professional and consistent output
  • Coordinate with HR and Marketing teams to understand briefs and deliver accordingly

      3. Creativity & Versatility

  • Come up with original designs and visual ideas suited to a project's art direction
  • Perform competition, market, and trend research to widen the range of references and expand innovative compositions
  • Work with different stylistic guidelines across game projects and corporate materials
  • Experiment with new techniques, tools (including AI-assisted workflows), and visual trends to improve quality and efficiency
  • Maintain and update a personal reference library of styles, trends, and techniques

      4. Communication & Organization

  • Work with minimal supervision on routine assignments. Seek supervision from seniors and art leads for complex tasks;
  • Respect deadlines and promptly communicate when delays are anticipated
  • Correctly organize files following logical naming conventions and project folder structures
  • Correctly get and update tasks from Jira and provide clear status updates to the team
  • Show open communication and openness to feedback
  • Contribute to the art documentation, style guides, and asset libraries
  • Adapt and learn new tools, engines, workflows, art styles, and direction as required by projects

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Ability to create 2D graphics in a wide variety of format: slides, mockups, documents, game icons, banners…
  • Ability to create in-game art assets such as characters, UI elements, environment…
  • Demonstrated a portfolio of graphic designs in different art styles (minimum of 3), with casual / cartoonish as a must
  • Solid knowledge of concept art and design principles.

  • Comfortable adjusting to changing project needs, new tools, and shifting work setups.
  • Willing to act on constructive feedback, collaborate with others, and meet project deadlines.
