Objectives & Responsibilities:
• Analyze competing domestic and international games. Understand gaming industry trends and set the product direction accordingly. Conduct analysis on project feasibility.
• Design core gameplay, ensuring the fun elements and game profitability.
• Set up the game’s main structure and logic rules, design values, gameplay, system function, basic interface, user consumption system, etc.
• Work closely with Studio Director and all teams, to coordinate the resources of programmers and artists, to ensure completion of the project goal.
• Work with User Research Manager and other team members to solicit feedback.
• Design and make the work arrangements, guide and supervise the developing process, establish a quick and effective development system.
• Coordinate with each department and guarantee the optimal configuration of game resources.
Qualifications:
• Have at least 6 years’ game design experience in the Senior Game Designer role, 2 years’ and above experience in the Lead Designer role is preferred.
• Proven experience as lead designer or key designer, for successful free to play domestic games.
• Involve in the whole process of project development.
• Have good technical understanding of game development with an ability to design systems and tools.
• Have deep knowledge of Chinese gamers and how they play, and their spending habits.
• Familiar with the leading games in the market with profound understanding of the industry. Have full knowledge of player demand and interest points.
• Have good experience in game system design, numerical design, level design, world outlook design.
Requirements:
• Skillful in using different game design software. Eager to learn new ideas, techniques and trends to help the game development.
• Great communication skill. Understand how to present idea with impact and influence.
• Good understanding of game balance and playability. Creative and welcome challenge.
• Ambitious about creating top-level online game products. Passionate about gaming industry and a fan of shooting games.
• Strong sense of responsibility. Quality oriented, and able to resolve problems throughout obstacles, to ensure the best output of the design.
• Abilities for adapting to change and meet different demands for producing.
