A timer has appeared on the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater website counting down to a new announcement, with the skating legend himself also appearing in a teaser.

The details:

  • Last week, it was claimed by professional skateboarder Tyshawn Jones that he will make an appearance in an upcoming Tony Hawk game. While Jones did not share any further details, it was noted that he had previously appeared as a new character in the critically acclaimed Pro Skater 1+2, implying that the new game could be the previously canceled remake of 3 and 4.

  • Shortly after, teasers for the game began appearing in Call of Duty Black Ops 6's skatepark "Grind" map, and the Pro Skater website was updated with a timer counting down to March 4. The game's social media channels also posted a teaser, with Hawk seated alongside fellow skating legends Steve Caballero, Kareem Campbell, Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen, and Eric Koston, with the caption "Loading... new parks. 3/4/25."

  • While it has not yet been officially confirmed, all signs point to a 3+4 remake, with the announcement date itself including both a 3 and a 4, and "thps-3-4-countdown" discovered in the website's code before being removed. The website also mentions Iron Galaxy, the developer who worked on the 1+2's PC port and other Activision remakes like Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Spyro Reignited, suggesting that a PC version may also be coming.
