Splatoon spin-off Splatoon Raiders announced for Switch 2

Nintendo has unveiled Splatoon Raiders, an upcoming Switch 2 spin-off set in the Splatoon universe.
The details:
The game was announced during Nintendo's latest Splatoon news video on its "Today" app. According to the description, players will assume the role of a mechanic and "go on an adventure in the mysterious Spirhalite Islands alongside the splat-tacular Deep Cut trio."
No further details or release date has been revealed for Raiders, but it has been speculated that Nintendo could be planning to hold a Direct showcase later this month. Although unconfirmed, fans have noticed that Nintendo has always held a Direct in June in the past few years, and with more Switch 2 games on the way, it seems likely.

The update will include new weapons, the return of the original game's Urchin Underpass map, additional badges, and increased "Freshness" caps. Switch 2 owners will also benefit from improved performance and visuals.
- Nintendo has delayed the Legend of Zelda film adaptation, citing "production reasons."
- Samantha Kelly has announced that Nintendo is recasting Princess Peach and Toad after almost two decades voicing the characters.
