Microsoft reportedly considering bringing Starfield and Indiana Jones to PS5
Bethesda

According to sources close to Microsoft, the company is considering bringing some of Xbox's biggest exclusives to the PS5, implying that it may begin offering its titles across multiple platforms.

The details:

  • As reported by The Verge, a source familiar with Microsoft's plans claims Bethesda is considering releasing both Starfield and the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on PS5. It is also said to be deciding which games will remain exclusive and which will be released on non-Xbox platforms in the future.

  • If the multi-platform plan goes ahead, Starfield is expected to arrive in 2025, months after the release of its Shattered Space expansion in 2024. Indiana Jones will be released on PS5 "some months later" than the Xbox and PC versions, with an estimated December 2024 release date.

  • Last month, rumors circulated that Xbox exclusives Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves would be made available on other platforms in 2024. Hi-Fi Rush was also recently datamined, which contained texture files hinting at PS5 and Switch releases, with an announcement expected in the coming weeks.
