Max Payne 1 and 2's remake has entered full production, while Control 2 becomes playable
Remedy Entertainment has confirmed that the remakes of Max Payne 1 and 2 are now in full production, and the sequel to Control is also in a playable state.
The details:
Remedy shared the updates in its latest financial report, stating that Control 2 has "progressed to the production readiness stage." The game is now playable, but the studio has not provided any additional information about its development or anticipated release date.
Max Payne 1 and 2's remake is further along, having entered full production ten months after Remedy announced it had reached the "production readiness stage" that Control 2 is now in. The project's expected release window has not been revealed, but Remedy is currently working with co-developer Rockstar to make both titles playable from start to finish.
Condor, Remedy’s only multiplayer project following the cancellation of Kestrel earlier this year, is also in full production. “The development team has worked on multiple maps and different mission types, and we have organized a growing amount of internal and limited external playtesting for feature validation and feedback,” the studio said.
