Hypixel founder willing to pay $25 million to acquire recently cancelled title Hytale from Riot Games

Simon "hypixel" Collins-Laflamme, the original founder of Hypixel Studios, has stated that he would be willing to buy-back Hytale, the studio’s recently scrapped project, and complete the game’s development for $25 million.
The details:
Earlier this week, it was announced that Hypixel Studios would be closing as its debut project, Hytale, had been canceled after a decade of development. The studio and the project were sold to Riot Games, the developer of League of Legends, in 2020, but it was stated that the resources and time needed to complete the game were not available.
Following the announcement, fans rallied in support of continuing its development, with the studio's original founder expressing an interest in getting involved. In response to a fan on X, Collins-Laflamme stated that he has not seen the game since 2019, and that he is concerned about the potential resources needed to continue the project, given that the development team previously consisted of over 100 people.
Despite his concerns, the founder stated that he would be willing to invest $25 million USD of his own money to complete Hytale, with plans to avoid the need to fund its development through Kickstarter and to reduce the overall scope of the project. “I get it 100%, look I am even down to put 25 millions USD by myself to finish Hytale, that’s how much I believe in it,” Collins-Laflamme wrote. “No kickstarter, just raw passion, high pressure and high risk taking. Reduce scope: legacy engine, pc only first, open source some parts, small team, cut unfinished features to accelerate towards beta. Get players in ASAP to support development. I even already have a dozen of Hytale legacy engine veterans working with me.”
