Rockstar has finally released a second trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, which reveals more about the game's dual protagonists, story, and the latest iteration of Vice City.

The details:

  • As shown in the new trailer, GTA 6 follows the story of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a couple who find themselves in the "middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida." The trailer, which was shot on a PS5, is set to Hot Together by The Pointer Sisters and includes many of the franchise's staples, such as wacky characters like Cal Hampton, intense police chases, robberies, and plenty of explosions.

  • Rockstar has also updated the game's official website, revealing more about both protagonists and their associates, with Jason seeking an "easy life" drug running in the Keys and Lucia being released from prison after being locked up for fighting for her family. Meanwhile, businessmen and gangsters like Boobie Ike and Dre'Quan Priest and rappers and social media stars such as Real Dimez cross paths, making Vice City an increasingly dangerous place.

  • Last week, Rockstar announced that GTA 6 would be delayed from 2025 to May 26, 2026, giving the game its first exact release date. The studio explained that it required the additional time to further polish the title, with publisher Take-Two voicing its support for the decision.
