Ghost of Tsushima will be the first PC game with PlayStation Trophy support
Sony has announced that its Trophy system will finally be available on PC, with Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima being the first game to support the feature.
The details:
Nixxes Software has released new details and screenshots of the new PlayStation overlay for PC, which includes a friends list, settings, PSN profile information, and Trophies for those who log in to their PSN accounts. Ghost of Tsushima is the first release to use the overlay, which can be accessed via "SHIFT+F1" or the in-game menu.
Cross-play is also available for the game's co-op Legends mode, and the Trophy list will be identical to the PS5 version, though it is unclear whether they will be treated as two separate games in terms of progression.
Rumors of Trophy support for PC surfaced following the release of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, which did include some basic PSN integration in the form of exclusive rewards for linking your account. It is unclear whether overlay support will be added retroactively to other PC PlayStation titles, such as God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn.
The platform's rival, Xbox, has included PC achievement support in several iterations over the years, with Halo 2 Vista offering achievements via the Games for Windows Live service. This system was discontinued after Microsoft integrated Xbox Live into Windows in recent years, bringing the console experience to PC.
