FromSoftware's parent company, Kadokawa Corporation, has announced that Elden Ring Nightreign will finally receive DLC content by the end of March 2026.

The details:

  • As spotted by GamesRadar+, Kadokawa confirmed in its earnings report that Elden Ring Nightreign has "performed well beyond initial expectations," with the company stating it is "aiming for further sales growth for ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN, original ELDEN RING, and its DLC." The company declined to share specific sales figures but indicated the experimental title's strong commercial performance.
  • The DLC is currently in development and is planned for release in FY2025 (fiscal year ending March 2026), which was previously confirmed as launching β€œby Q4 2025" on the Steam store page for the game’s Deluxe Upgrade Pack. The expansion will introduce new playable Nightfarers and additional bosses, which is much needed given that Nightreign has received very little content since its launch back in May.
  • Aside from the DLC, Kadokawa outlined an ambitious roadmap for FromSoftware going forward, including the Elden Ring Tarnished Edition set to arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026 following a recent delay, and its Switch 2-exclusive PvPvE multiplayer title, The Duskbloods, which is also targeting a 2026 release.
