Kojima Productions has released a new trailer for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, confirming that the game will be available on June 26 with early access on June 24 for those with select editions.

The details:

  • The game's latest ten-minute trailer debuted during Hideo Kojima's SXSW 2025 panel on Sunday. It includes new gameplay that showcases various landscapes such as cities and forests, characters, and a new faction, with fans drawing parallels between its story and the real-life Covid-19 pandemic. It even introduces a new character named Neil, who bears a striking resemblance to Metal Gear Solid Snake.

  • The standard version of the game will be released on June 26 for the PS5. Kojima did, however, announce that a $80 Digital Deluxe edition and a $230 Collector's Edition will be available, with pre-orders giving players access to the game two days earlier. The pricey Collector's Edition will include a Dollman figurine, a letter from Kojima, art cards, multiple pieces of in-game content, and a 15-inch Magellan Man statue.

  • A concert tour featuring music from DS2 and its predecessor has also been announced. Death Stranding: Strands of Harmony will begin in Sydney in November and will tour throughout Oceania, Asia, Europe, and North America, culminating in a show in Toronto in March 2026. Tickets for the majority of its shows will go live on March 12 via the tour’s official website.
