Sandfall Interactive has announced that the next update for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will bring with it a new environment, bosses, and more as the game celebrates five million sales following its launch earlier this year.

The details:

  • The French developer confirmed that the critically acclaimed RPG has now sold five million units worldwide across all platforms since its release in April. Back in May, the studio announced that it had sold 3.3 million copies of the game within its first month, an impressive and fitting milestone for a smaller developer.
  • Sandfall has also shared an update on its future plans for Expedition 33 after it teased that new content was on the way in June. According to the studio, an upcoming update for the game will add a brand-new location with new enemy encounters, new end-game boss battles, more in-game costumes, additional localization options, and “even more surprises fans can look forward to.”
