Call of Duty Black Ops 6’s beta dates have been revealed
Activision has announced that the Black Ops 6 multiplayer beta will begin at the end of August for those who pre-order, with a second weekend open to all players.
The details:
The publisher confirmed that the early access beta will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC from August 30 to September 4, with no platform exclusivity. The weekend is open to those who pre-ordered the game on their respective platforms, or who own Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Console (now standard), or PC.
The open beta, which is available to all players regardless of pre-order status, will run from September 6 to September 9, with both weekends beginning at 10 a.m. PT / 6 p.m. BST.
Players will have access to a small selection of maps, weapons, equipment, and perks from the full game, while those who purchase the Vault Edition will be able to use the operators and blueprints included. Fans will also have the opportunity to try out the new Omnimovement system for the first time.
Based on previous COD betas, it's likely that participating will grant players rewards in the full game, with reaching the max level typically granting a unique weapon blueprint. Activision also confirmed that more information about Zombies, the campaign, and multiplayer will be released very soon.
