Ark: Survival Ascended's Xbox port has been delayed for the second time this week
After announcing a delay earlier this week, Studio Wildcard has now delayed the release of its dinosaur survival game until next week, citing certification issues.
The details:
On Monday, November 13, Studio Wildcard announced that the Xbox port of the game would no longer be released the following day, stating that the game was still going through the certification process but that it would instead be available towards the end of the week.
Fans were correct to be skeptical of such a small delay, as the developer has now confirmed that it has been pushed back again, with a new release window of "early next week" now being targeted. The reason for the delay is also related to its certification, which the studio claims "yielded some unexpected issues" and that it is working with Microsoft to resubmit the build with those issues addressed.
The studio also provided an update on the PS5 version of the game, which it previously stated would be released soon as it was still "finalizing" it with Sony. It has essentially said the same thing, except that it has now added that the title is on track to be released by the end of November.
