Amazon is developing a Fallout reality competition series where contestants live inside a vault

Amazon Prime Video has officially greenlit a reality competition series based on Bethesda's Fallout series, where contestants will compete inside an immersive vault environment for a huge cash prize.

The details:

  • The ten-part series will see a group of contestants be placed into Vault-Tec's iconic vaults, where they must compete in challenges inspired by Fallout's signature S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attributes: strength, perception, endurance, charisma, intelligence, agility, and luck.
  • The show is being produced by Studio Lambert, the team behind Squid Game; Kilter Films, the producers of Amazon’s Fallout TV show; Amazon MGM Studios; and Bethesda. Filming is expected to take place in June 2026 and will run for three weeks, with casting applications accepted until February 15.
  • Those Interested in taking part must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid passport, and be legally allowed to travel in the US and UK. Applicants will also be subject to background checks and physical and psychological examinations before being open to selection.
