Job Description

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior UI Programmer to join our office in Boston (Or remote) to work on Cyberpunk 2, the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077. In this role, you will help the Orion Team implement and maintain user interface features for the game.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Taking part in the design and implementation of user interfaces

  • Maintenance and optimization of existing systems

  • Creating new features for the user interface framework

  • Implementing tools for UI artists and designers

  • Tracking and fixing bugs in game user interface and user interface framework

  • Completing tasks on time and creating high quality code

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of professional experience as a programmer within the games industry.

  • Strong proficiency in C++ programming and knowledge of Unreal Engine.

  • Strong knowledge of user interface design patterns.

  • Proficiency in algorithms and code architecture.

  • Debugging and optimization skills.

  • Understanding player needs in terms of user interface of modern video games.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required.

  • Excellent communication skills: We have a multilingual and multicultural working environment and the ability to communicate across language and time zone barriers is essential.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with Common UI in Unreal.
