- Nowakowski confirmed that more than 500 people are now actively working on The Witcher 4. The studio has framed this as a sign of the project's scale and the seriousness of its development momentum, though CD Projekt's history with Cyberpunk 2077 means any date comes with the caveat that things can change.
- The Witcher 4 will star Ciri rather than Geralt, picking up with her as an experienced Witcher in her own right. The shift in protagonist has been positioned by the studio as a new era for the franchise rather than a continuation of Geralt's arc.
