The title of Bethesda's Indiana Jones game may have been discovered
The title of MachineGames' upcoming Indiana Jones game may have leaked ahead of its official announcement next week.
The details:
As spotted by @Kurakasis on X, Lucasfilm registered a number of domain names for variations on "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle" on January 9. One of the domains refers to the title as a game, which matches the company's trademark filing for "THE GREAT CIRCLE" in 2022 for video game goods and services.
The game will be officially revealed on January 18 at Xbox's Developer_Direct showcase, which will include 10 minutes of new plot and setting details from the action-adventure game as well as its first gameplay trailer.
So far, not much is known about the game, but it has been confirmed that it will be exclusive to Xbox and Windows PC, with the PlayStation version canceled following Microsoft's acquisition of Bethesda. Todd Howard, the executive producer, also stated that the title will be a "love letter" to the franchise and a "mashup" of genres.
