Sega reveals Tokyo Game Show line-up, including four secret games

Sega has confirmed some of its games that will appear at the Tokyo Game Show later this month, with four of the titles yet to be revealed.

The details:

  • Tokyo Game Show 2025 will kick off on September 25, and Sonic publisher Sega has recently opened up its new page dedicated to the event over on its website. The site features several of its first-party titles that will make an appearance, including Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, Persona 3 Reload, Persona 5: The Phantom X, Football Manager 26, and Gearbox’s Borderlands 4, which it publishes in Japan.
  • However, not all of the games have been revealed, with four empty slots marked “coming soon.” It’s unknown if these undisclosed titles will be confirmed before the event, but it’s possible that one of them could be from Like a Dragon studio Ryu Ga Gotoku, which is hosting its own livestream showcase the day before TGS begins.
  • Ryu Ga Gotoku is currently working on a new Virtua Fighter game and action-adventure title Stranger Than Heaven, which could be two of the four mystery projects. Sega is also in the process of rebooting several of its classic franchises, including Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, and Streets of Rage, with little official information shared since late 2023. With the recent release of Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, it may be time for the publisher to reveal more about the other reboots.
