The Australian Classification has officially rated an unannounced Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, indicating that a re-release of the classic Ubisoft platformer is on the way.

The details:

  • As spotted by Insider Gaming, the website lists Atari as the developer and publisher, with the title rated General, the lowest classification rating, with a note for “Very mild violence.” The classification date listed is January 22, 2026, with the title said to be for the original Switch and the PS5, although it’s unlikely that Ubisoft will skip an Xbox or PC release when the time comes.
  • The website also states that U&I Entertainment is serving as the applicant, suggesting that the game will receive some form of physical release, with the company having previously handled physical releases for both Ubisoft and Atari.
  • According to Insider Gaming’s reliable leaker and reporter Tom Henderson, Ubisoft is currently working on two different Rayman projects, both of which are newer versions of past titles. The 30th Anniversary Edition is reportedly codenamed “Iceman” and is set to launch “very, very soon,” while project “Steambot” is a remake of Rayman Legends.
  • Last year, Ubisoft Montpellier and Milan confirmed that they were working on new Rayman projects as part of the franchise’s upcoming 30th anniversary after years of inactivity. While little was revealed, it did confirm that it would be related to the core franchise, rather than the popular Rabbids spin-off series.
