Persona 3: Reload (P3R) and Persona 5 Tactica (P5T) were revealed at the Xbox Game Showcase, and it has been claimed that the next mainline Persona title will be released within the next few years.
The details:
- On June 10, Twitter user @MbKKssTBhz5 claimed that P3R and P5T are projects "leading up to Persona 6," which is expected to be released by the end of 2026. More Persona projects, including those related to Persona 5, have yet to be revealed, according to the leaker. Before Atlus accidentally confirmed this via its own Instagram, the same user shared the title and release information of P3R and P5T and stated that they would appear at the Xbox Games Showcase.
- So far, we don't know much about Persona 6, but if rumors of more spin-offs are accurate, we'll likely see it in late 2024 at the earliest. The color of the game's theme would be green, according to known leaker Im A Hero Too, who also claimed back in February that the game had been internally delayed for unspecified reasons. They, like @MbKKssTBhz5, revealed P3R's title ahead of time, albeit in a more cryptic manner.
- P3R and P5T were officially revealed with two new trailers at the Xbox Games Showcase. P5T will be released first on November 17, 2023, followed by P3R in early 2024. Both games will be available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, with PlayStation versions expected but not officially confirmed. The games will be available to Game Pass subscribers from the start.
More gaming leaks and rumors:
- Multiple credible sources have claimed that rumors of a Final Fantasy IX remake being developed by Square Enix are "real" and that the game will retain the traditional gameplay style, but that it "isn't on the same level as FF7's remake."
- According to a few job listings, ZeniMax Online Studios' upcoming MMO IP could be an open-world action RPG that will be released across all major platforms. The game may be built with Unreal Engine 5.
