Upwards Agency is seeking a Social Media Manager to spearhead the management of social channels and deliver cutting-edge social media content for high-profile clients in the esports industry. This role demands a strategic thinker who thrives in client-facing situations and excels in managing the dynamic requirements of agency life.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders, coupled with hands-on experience running and optimizing brand social channels. As part of our team, you’ll work closely with our client to achieve their objectives and foster growth across their digital platforms, particularly within the esports and gaming community.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the client’s social media channels, ensuring they reflect the energy and engagement of the esports industry.
Create and curate innovative, strategic, and best-in-class content tailored to resonate with esports audiences.
Collaborate with multiple clients and project manager to define goals, refine strategies, and achieve KPIs across various platforms.
Work closely with creative teams within the agency to deliver campaigns that drive engagement and community growth.
Stay informed on emerging trends within social media, esports, and gaming to keep the client’s content fresh and relevant.
MUST be familiar with the Dota 2, CS2, RB6, and other general esports scenes.
Qualifications:
Experience in an agency environment managing multiple clients or stakeholders is a plus.
Expertise in running social channels, particularly within the entertainment, sports, or gaming sectors.
Passion for esports and a deep understanding of its audience and culture.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise in Sprout Social and working on multiple channels.
Graphic design experience is a plus, but not necessary to apply.
