Elden Ring Nightreign's solo difficulty has been adjusted in its latest patch

FromSoftware has issued a new patch for Elden Ring: Nightreign, which makes the game easier for solo players after fans criticized its unbalanced difficulty at launch.
The details:
Following the release of the co-op title last week, FromSoftware announced that it was working on patches to address some of the largest fan criticisms, such as poor technical performance and overall game balance. One of the most common complaints was that the game was unforgiving for solo players compared to three-player parties, with seemingly minor differences being made to difficulty.
With the release of patch 1.01.1, the developer has added the new "Automatic Revival Upon Defeat" effect, allowing solo players to be revived once per Nightlord boss battle. Players will also receive more runes to compensate for the increased difficulty of solo expeditions.
Further balancing changes for both solo and co-op play have been made, with more high-rarity Relics being issued as rewards after reaching the final day of an expedition, as well as an increased chance of acquiring the aforementioned Relics from Scenic Flat stones purchased at the Small Jar Bazaar.
Several bugs have also been fixed, including a number of effects, skills, and weapons that were failing to function, not working as intended, or causing problems with the Steam version of the game in particular.
FromSoftware has confirmed in an interview with IGN that two-player co-op could be added to the rogue-like in the future, after admitting that it was "overlooked" during development. Currently, the game can only be played solo or with two others, meaning that two friends must use matchmaking to find a third player to join their group.
