1- Senior 3D Animator
AThe Role
We need a Senior 3D Animator to own character animation end-to-end for a Unity mobile title.
This isn't a support role. You'll define the movement language for heroes and troops, take visual direction from the Art Director, collaborate with the 3D Generalist, and coordinate with the Art Producer for task tracking and milestone delivery, and bring our roster to life β from first blocking pass to final in-engine polish.
What You'll Own
Character Animation
-Full animation sets for heroes, troop units, and a creature β idle, move, attack, hit, death, ability activations
-Designing animations specifically for top-down/isometric camera readability, ensuring strong silhouettes and clear action states from a distance
-Animations that read clearly at mobile screen sizes and within real-time performance budgets
-Unity Animator Controller setup: blend trees, animation events, state machines
Pipeline
- Establish and document the animation pipeline from DCC to Unity
- Set naming conventions, export standards, and integration guidelines
- Collaborate with the Technical Artist to align on rig standards and LOD considerations, including optimizing animations for massive crowd scenes, strict adherence to bone-count limits, and experience with animation LODs or vertex animation baking
Quality
- Own animation quality across the full character roster, not just your own output
- Maintain consistency as assets come online from the 3D Generalist
What We're Looking For
Must-Have
- 5+ years of 3D character animation in games, with at least one shipped mobile title
- Deep Unity integration experience β Animator Controller, blend trees, animation events, state machines
- Proficient in Maya and/or Blender
- Strong fundamentals: weight, timing, secondary motion β particularly for stylized-realism
- Self-directed; comfortable owning a pipeline without hand-holding
****Strong Advantage****
- Rigging experience β candidates who rig what they animate move faster and own more
- Experience on 4X, strategy, or RTS titles
- VFX hookup experience β particle systems and shader-driven effects timed to animation events
- Animation pipeline built from scratch on a small team
- Experience designing modular animation sets and rigs that can be shared across multiple character models or expanding troop tiers
What This Is Not
- A junior support role. We don't have the bandwidth to train.
- Pure execution. You'll make pipeline decisions and own them.
- A studio with a fully established process. You'll help build it.

Portfolio Requirements
Your application must include a reel or portfolio showing:
- In-game character animation β not pre-rendered cinematics
- At least one shipped mobile title
- Stylized or stylized-realism work strongly preferred
- Rigging work alongside animation output is a bonus
- Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed.
2- Senior Technical Artist
About the Role
You'll own the bridge between our art vision and what actually ships in Unity. Working closely with our Art Director, you'll define how stylized realism translates into performant, production-ready assets, building the master PBR shaders that set our visual tone, the optimization standards that keep us fast on mobile, and the automated pipeline checks that catch heavy, unoptimized assets before they break the engine.
You'll be the person who turns ambitious visual targets into something that actually runs on a phone , without losing the stylized realism that makes our game unique.
You will
- Build and maintain master PBR materials and shaders that define our in-engine visual language.
- Set up automated pipeline checks that catch unoptimized or oversized assets before they hit the engine.
- Own poly budgets, LOD strategy, and texture packing β balancing performance with our stylized realism look.
- Partner directly with our Art Director and 3D/concept artists to keep visual ambition and technical reality aligned.
- Help define best practices as the art team scales, so quality holds as headcount grows.
## You're a strong fit if you have
- Proven experience as a Technical Artist in game development, ideally mobile.
- Looking for 5+ years in experience in your craft.
- Deep knowledge of shader authoring (Shader Graph/HLSL), PBR workflows, and Unity rendering pipelines.
- Experience setting poly/texture/performance budgets for stylized 3D art.
- A track record of building tools or checks that prevent problems before they ship, not just fixing them after.
- Experience with automation/validation tooling in Unity.
