We at Infernozilla are excited to expand our team and are now seeking a talented and creative Video Editor professional. As we continue to expand our presence in the gaming industry, we are looking for a Video Editor with a passion for gaming and an eye for high-quality video content that can showcase our clients games and be a key player in elevating our brand and clients presence. Apart from your technical editing skills, you will need to understand social media short-form trends and have a great eye for content that does well.

Video Editor Job Responsibilities:

Edit high-quality video content for social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X, and other digital channels.
Create engaging trailers, promotional videos, gameplay highlights, community content, and other gaming-related assets.
Take and/or capture raw footage and turn it into content that is entertaining, engaging, and tailored to the intended audience.
Add music, sound effects, captions, transitions, graphics, and other elements to enhance videos where needed.
Keep up with current social media trends and identify opportunities to incorporate them into creative content.
Work closely with internal teams to understand content goals and deliver videos that support campaign objectives.
Manage multiple editing projects and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
Suggest creative ideas and editing techniques that can improve content performance and viewer engagement.
Ensure all content meets brand guidelines, quality standards, and platform-specific requirements.

This role is fully remote (worldwide), and the right candidate is expected to work full-time while managing their schedule of 35-40 hours per week.

Video Editor Qualifications / Skills:

Strong video editing skills and a portfolio demonstrating your work.
Experience using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar programs.
A solid understanding of what performs well on social media (especially vertical, short-form videos) and how content differs across platforms.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality across multiple projects.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a remote team environment.
A willingness to learn, adapt to feedback, and stay current with new trends and content styles.
Ability to create compelling short-form and some long-form video content.
Strong storytelling, pacing, and visual communication skills.

Education and Experience Requirements:

At least 3 years of video editing experience in a professional, freelance, or content creation capacity.
Good written and spoken English is a requirement for this position.
While traditional education is admirable, we want to see visual content creation, Adobe know-how, video editing, or other relevant industry experience on your CV over the number of school years.
Experience editing gaming content, trailers, promotional videos, or gameplay highlights is highly preferred.
Experience in recording or capturing gameplay footage is a major plus.
Being able to create content and speak on camera is a plus and will be considered as a stronger candidate.
