Technical Manager Of Optical Engineering

The Role:

The Technical Manager, Optical Engineering, is responsible for manufacturing camera testing development, engage from new product launch to mass production sustaining. You'll work with design, quality and manufacturing teams to develop, launch new products, developing optical testing systems and flow for manufacturing.

• Optical related production crisis management and resolve

• New technology (self-development or leverage outside resource) study for perspective of optical testing development

• Camera testing development and implementation for production line

• Leading continuous improvement from testing efficiency and cost avoidance

• Design for manufacturing (DFM) contributor

• Standardize ,Optimize optical testing development

• Criteria alignment approach end to end (from supplier to product level quality)

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

• Technical background and major in optical engineering

• Bachelor degree, Master is plus

• Good at cross-functional cooperation with good communication skills

• Camera testing development experience

• Crisis management skill for NPI launch block or MP stopper

• Fluent read/write and speak English

• Aggressive and result oriented

Qualification with below skills will be plus

• Familiarity with coding

• Familiarity with Optical/Acoustic/ Android test development

• Familiarity with manufacturing process/product and management

• Familiarity with automation application

• Familiarity with information system and AI

Background:

• More than 5 years’ experience in field of optical imaging

• Experience in lens and optical system manufacturing / development

• Experience on engineering in 3C manufacturing field will be plus

• Experience on testing development will be plus
