We are looking for a Community Manager to join Larianโ€™s Publishing team. Someone that has their finger on the pulse of everything thatโ€™s happening in the community. They know the current sentiments, the in-jokes, the thoughts on the latest patch release, the ongoing issues and the most desired changes to come! We need a person that can meaningfully engage with our players across multiple online platforms, take their feedback and bring it to our development teams, and work with the Publishing team to continue to build on our existing audience.

We have 25 years of experience creating critically acclaimed role playing games and pride ourselves on our excellent storytelling โ€” our most recent title, Divinity: Original Sin 2, has won over 160 awards (including the BAFTA for Best Multiplayer Game) and our next game, Baldurโ€™s Gate 3, is currently available in Early Access with a vibrant, excited community already built up around it.

As a Community Manager, you will be a part of the Publishing team at Larian Studios and will report directly to the Director of PR and Communications.

This is a full-time position that can be based on-site or remotely.

What we will expect you to do:

  • Be the liaison between our players and our internal teams
  • Interact with players across official forums, Steam, Discord, Reddit and other platforms on a day-to-day basis
  • Work alongside the support team to produce feedback documents that help to inform our development teamโ€™s priorities
  • Collaborate with the social media team to communicate with the Larian audience using a consistent voice

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has managed an online gaming community throughout the development and launch of a new title.
  • Has stellar communication & listening skills
  • Understands Larianโ€™s audience and CRPG players broadly โ€“ maybe youโ€™re even a part of that audience!
  • Can ensure that all our communications match the tone of our established voice.
  • Has a tactful, empathetic approach to community-building
