1v1Me is the leading platform where fans stake on competitive video game matches. We operate a high-velocity esports environment with live events running across Madden, NBA 2K, FC, Call of Duty, Street Fighter, Counter-Strike, Tekken, and more.

This role is incredibly important to our product. As a Live Host / Commentator, you’ll be responsible for helping viewers through their staking experience and providing a source of entertainment / education to get them interested in our leagues.

What You’ll Do

Livestream to our Twitch & internal channels
Host a pregame show going over each player: their stats, character / team selection, and explain who you think is going to win and WHY
Speak with players in pre / post game interviews to hear their perspectives, and push storylines for viewers to follow
Give entertaining, authentic, & energetic commentary to guide viewers through the match
Help viewers better understand what they are watching, break down big moments, and explain the game to someone who may be watching for the first time
Interact with the viewers in our live chat, to help build our community
Assist with content around the app (informational / promotional videos for your league)

Who You Are

Personable, professional, entertaining, and comfortable being on live video/audio
Innovative and always looking for ways to make your streams more entertaining
Have experience producing / running your own streams via OBS
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to remain calm and professional with live viewers who may be frustrated
Highly reliable and organized — you show up on time, every time
Extremely passionate about gaming, and willing to learn everything there is to know about our leagues / players
Quick thinker who can troubleshoot issues independently before escalating
Comfortable multitasking across Discord, OBS, and slack channels
Knowledgeable in major competitive games (Madden, NBA 2K, FC, COD, etc.)
