Social Media Specialist

Position Summary, Responsibilities, and Expectations

• Plan and manage the social media calendar and execute a regular posting schedule for Gamer Sensei social media channels
• Ensure regular engagement with Gamer Sensei fans on social media
• Integrate key events in the competitive gaming event calendar into Gamer Sensei social media plans and stay on the pulse of what is happening in esports
• Brainstorm and coordinate new ideas to increase following and fan engagement
• Identify and execute on opportunities to support and collaborate with CORSAIR and other brands within the CORSAIR family
• Work closely with customer support to address and relay feedback
• Report in your efforts, using data to tell the story of Gamer Sensei’s performance across social media platforms

Essential Skills and Experience

• Demonstrable experience in managing a brand or organization’s social media account with a decent sized following
• Experience managing an editorial calendar with regular posting cadence
• Proven skills in social media copywriting with a good eye for community content
• Proficient at Photoshop or other basic image editing software for creating and editing assets for social media
• Must be an independent self-starter with strong organizational skills and impeccable work ethic
• Superb communication skills, both internally and externally
• Well-rounded knowledge of social platforms and how to drive success
• Great understanding of competitive gaming culture
