Mechanical Engineer

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in New Product Development
• Broad mechanical design knowledgebase from plastic injection moulding, through metal casting and additive manufacturing, to sheet metal fabrication and turning/milling
• Experience with composite materials is desirable

• Hands-On experience in production and assembly of parts is a plus

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with CAD and simulation tools (preferably Solidworks and Solidworks PDM)
  • Experience in freeform modelling is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T
  • Experience in mechatronical systems is a plus
• Soft Skills
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Fluency in German is a plus
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving approach
  • Hands-On mentality with strong ownership and accountability
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines
  • Excellent communication skills in international environments
  • Experience working with predominantly Asian manufacturing partners
